Certain specified imported goods are regulated by the South African government in order to ensure quality and safety, to prevent illegal activities from taking place, and to protect the South African economy. Some example of regulated goods include: goods of plant or animal origin, second hand/used goods, pharmaceuticals, tyres, fuel, specified electrical and mechancial goods. Based on the tarriff code of the item to be imported we can assess if any permits are required and quote accordingly.
